How to find Mirrambeena Cabins on Black Swamp Road - Tenterfield NSW
Travelling from Brisbane (on New England Highway from Stanthorpe) On reaching the built-up area, continue to the bridge, Tally Ho Motel will be to your right. Just across the bridge take the first turn to the left (Tourist Drive 7 - Bald Rock and Woodenbong)., keep veering left on to the Mt Lindesay Road Continue along this road for 7 kms, Black Swamp Road is signposted together with a large AVON sign and Willowvale Wines. Take this turn to the right and Mirrambeena will be on the left, 2 kms past the end of the bitumen.
Travelling from Lismore (on Bruxner Highway) 15 kms before Tenterfield there is a house with a lot of paling fence yards and pine trees. Just past this house you will see the start of Black Swamp Road turning off to the right. Black Swamp Road is 13 kms long and joins the Bruxner Highway and Mt Lindesay Road. It is mainly gravel and some care is needed. Mirrambeena will be located on the right, closer to the Mt Lindesay end of Black Swamp Road (approximately 9 kms).
