Built
in the early 1900s, Moombilleen cottage is an excellent
example of Federation style building in Tenterfield and
is centrally located close to the main shopping area.
Moombilleen
was the original native name for the town of Tenterfield
and has two possible meanings, "Place of wild bees",
or "Place of emus".
The
cottage is fully self-contained with 3 bedrooms, a lounge
room, a fully equipped kitchen and can accommodate up
to 6 people. Moombilleen is ideal for a family and children
are most welcome, but we regret that we cannot accommodate
pets.
Electric
blankets are supplied and there is a garage and
a carport.
